We are thrilled to announce that the Constangy Cyber Team and its leadership were recognized by Intelligent Insurer as finalists at the 2025 Cyber Insurance Awards! The Cyber Team is a finalist for "Cyber Law Firm of the Year,' chair Sean Hoar is a finalist for the "Cyber Insurance Legend" award, and vice chair Alyssa Watzman is a finalist in for the "Inspiring Woman in Cyber" award.
Now in its second year, the Cyber Insurance Awards received hundreds of nominations from across the industry. Winners are selected by an independent panel of expert judges based on their contributions to the field and impact on the evolving cybersecurity and insurance landscape. The winners will be announced at the Cyber Insurance Awards ceremony in Chicago on April 1, 2025, during the Cyber Risk and Insurance Innovation Conference.

Sean has twice received the prestigious Director’s Award and is recognized by Cybersecurity Docket as one of the country's top data breach response lawyers.
Alyssa Watzman is vice chair of Constangy’s Cyber Team with over five years of experience in data security and cyber risk management. She has led hundreds of clients through complex data breaches, ransom negotiations, and regulatory compliance challenges, often collaborating with cyber insurers and brokers to enhance clients' privacy and security resilience. As a respected thought leader in cybersecurity, Alyssa regularly shares her insights at industry events, offering practical guidance on cyber insurance and risk mitigation strategies.
