Constangy Expands California Team with Two Attorneys
Constangy is pleased to welcome Deepa Kollipara back to its San Francisco office as she rejoins the firm, and to introduce Jazmin Luna as a new associate in its San Diego office.
Deepa Kollipara Returns to Constangy’s San Francisco Office
Deepa focuses her practice on advising and defending employers in workplace disputes. She represents businesses in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims, handling litigation at all stages. In addition to her litigation work, Deepa provides strategic counsel to help companies navigate complex and evolving employment laws.
She regularly advises on compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including:
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA)
- California Labor Code
- Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
- National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Deepa works closely with HR teams, offering guidance on onboarding, terminations, personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and employee classification.
Before joining Constangy, Deepa practiced corporate law at an AmLaw 100 firm, where she advised startup companies and investors on compliance, governance, and transactional matters. She earned her law degree from Berkeley Law, where she gained hands-on experience in employment and civil litigation. She served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice, worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and co-directed the Wage Justice Clinic, assisting with wage claims before the California Labor Commissioner.
Jazmin Luna Joins Constangy’s San Diego Office
Jazmin is a labor and employment attorney who represents employers in a variety of workplace disputes. Her experience includes defending companies in class actions, wage and hour claims, and single-plaintiff cases involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation under federal and state laws.
Jazmin is an active member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association and the Lawyers Club of San Diego. She earned her law degree from California Western School of Law.
