Constangy Presents Webinar on HR Best Practices

Event

Constangy partners Laura Balson and Ben Widener presented a webinar on HR best practices on May 3. SHRM and HRCI credit was offered for this program.

The webinar, “Spring Cleaning: How to Keep your HR Practices Mess Free,” detailed what has to be in employee handbooks, how often employee handbooks need to be updated, when a non-compete is enforceable, and what the new FTC and NLRB rules mean for a company's ability to use existing agreements.

Ben thrives on helping his clients with their “people problems,” and he works tirelessly to ensure his clients’ compliance with the ever-changing minefield of labor and employment law. Ben concentrates his practice in all aspects of labor management and employee relations. This includes but is not limited to HR consulting (from onboarding to termination and everything in between), representing clients in litigation and agency proceedings, conducting workplace investigations, and helping his clients protect their intellectual property and trade secrets.
