Constangy's Punam Rogers Named as Immigration Trailblazer

National labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP is excited to congratulate Punam Singh Rogers, a partner in our Boston office, on her selection by the National Law Journal as a 2020 "Trailblazer" in immigration law.

Rogers was inspired to become an immigration lawyer after working in an immigration clinic in Newark, New Jersey during her final year of law school at Seton Hall. 

As a business immigration attorney, Rogers represents employers in a variety of industries across the country. She honors her commitment to helping disadvantaged immigrants by providing pro-bono services to a number of organizations. Rogers is proud to have established the Pro bono Detention Program in partnership with the Boston immigration courts, and was honored as Attorney of the Year by the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project for her work on the project. 

She also continues to advance immigration law through leadership positions in a variety of organizations. She currently serves as chair of public policy for the DEI Section of the Boston Bar Association and chair of the diversity and inclusion committee for the New England chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
