Tampa-based partner David Steffen recently spoke to LODGING about how to deal with employment dilemmas facing hoteliers, many of whom—in the midst of the nationwide shutdown of business as usual—feel they have no choice but to lay off employees due to drastically reduced occupancy.
Steffen answered questions about issues ranging from new regulations and government stimulus packages to how to keep employees safe and what to do if a property is appropriated for use by a government agency as part of quarantine or treatment efforts.
