Joyce Dos Santos Named to Lawyers of Color “Hot List” for 2022  

Constangy is pleased to announce that attorney, Joyce Dos Santos, has been named to the Lawyers of Color “Hot List” for 2022.

Selection Criteria: The honorees, who all work as in-house counsel, government attorneys, or law firm associates were chosen through a two-pronged process. The Lawyers of Color selection committee, composed of the editorial staff, fellows and advisers, spent months reviewing nominations and researching legal publications in order to identify promising candidates. Lawyers of Color accepted nominations from mentors, peers, and colleagues and made editorial picks based on research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, giving special attention to candidates who were active in diversity pipeline initiatives.

Dos Santos is a dedicated and compassionate employment defense attorney focused on counseling and advising employers on a broad range of issues in the workplace, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. During her time with the firm, first as a paralegal for six years and now as an attorney, Dos Santos has represented clients in all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal, before state and federal courts, as well as before federal, state, and local administrative agencies. She enjoys working directly with clients, approaching each issue with the high level of personal attention that each matter deserves and a solution-driven approach.
