Constagy partner Laura Balson will present a webinar, hosted by LaSalle Network, on the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act on February 28, 2024. The Paid Leave for All Workers Act, which went into effect on January 1, 2024, will significantly impact paid time off policies and have sweeping implications for Illinois employers.

Laura Balson is a partner, co-chair of Constangy's Whistleblower and Retaliation practice group, and head of the firm's Chicago office. Laura has extensive experience counseling employers on labor and employment matters to help them mitigate legal risk. She is also an experienced litigator and has represented employers in front of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Illinois Department of Human Rights, Cook County Commission on Human Rights, the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, and other state and local administrative agencies.
