Laura Balson to Present Session at ABA's 17th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference

Constangy partner and Chicago office head, Laura Balson, will present on whistleblower and retaliation cases at the American Bar Association's 17th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference in Seattle, WA. 

This four-day event, presented by the ABA's Labor and Employment Law Section, is being held from November 8th to November 11th, 2023. Programming includes a range of crucial issues and developments in labor and employment law and attendees are eligible to receive CLE credit for their participation. 

Laura's panel - 'When Confidentiality and Whistleblowing Collide' - is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, from 9:30 -10:45 am PT. 

Laura Balson is an experienced litigator who frequently represents employers in front of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Cook County Commission on Human Rights, the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, and other state and local administrative agencies. She focuses a portion of her practice on whistleblower and retaliation matters, including developing compliance programs and policies, conducting internal investigations and audits, and representing clients before the Department of Labor and other government agencies, as well as state and federal courts.
