Lauren Godfrey Presents at ABA Cybersecurity Data Privacy Conference

Constangy partner and Cyber Team member Lauren Godfrey will speak at the American Bar Association's TIPS Cybersecurity Data Privacy Conference. This biannual event is focused on technological trends that are impacting cybersecurity and privacy risk management. The conference will be held from March 14th-15th, 2024 at Georgia State University Law School in Atlanta Georgia.

Lauren will join a panel to discuss cybersecurity litigation trends, including liability for disclosure of PII, failure to maintain security standards, and liabilities for organizational leadership. Her panel is scheduled for March 15th at 9:30 a.m.

Lauren, a partner out of Constangy's Philadelphia office, advises clients on data privacy and information security best practices. Lauren guides clients through all stages of a cybersecurity incident, assessing data security vulnerabilities, facilitating forensic investigations, eradicating the threat, and post-incident recovery. She also provides clients with proactive data security and privacy services, including developing privacy policies, information security policies, incident response plans, and contracting protocols.
