Richard Brown and Brittany Turner to Present HR Seminar for National Business Institute

Constangy partner, Richard Brown, and attorney, Brittany Turner, will present a virtual seminar entitled, 'Mini Law School for Alabama HR Professionals.' This all-day program, aimed at HR personnel, in-house counsel, accountants, and c-suite executives, will discuss crucial employment law topics and strategies, including employment litigation prevention and risk management, HR policies, wage and hour exemption requirements, and considerations for employee termination and workforce reduction.

This program is being offered for 6.0 hours of Alabama CLE credit, as well as 7.0 hours of CPE credit for accountants and 6.0 hours of HRCI/SHRM CP/SCP credit. Attendees can tune in live on Wednesday, September 6th from 9 am to 4:30 pm or watch the entire program on-demand at their convenience.

Richard is a partner out of Constangy's Birmingham office who focuses his practice on labor relations, union avoidance, defense of NLRB and EEOC charges, employment policies, wage and hour, FMLA, union contract negotiations, defense of grievances in arbitrations, management training, and mediation services. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and is admitted to practice in both Alabama and Georgia.

Brittany is an attorney who also works out of Constangy's Birmingham office. Her practice includes class/collective actions, employment litigations prevention and defense, wage and hour compliance and litigation, whistleblower and retaliation, and workplace safety. She is also a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and is admitted to practice in Alabama.
