Constangy partner and Cyber Team member Ryan Steidl will present on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at SecureWorld Boston. This event will be held at the Hynes Convention Center on March 12th and 13th. Attendees of this event will be eligible to receive CPE credit for their participation. 

Ryan's panel, "The Sorcerer’s Apprentice: Taming AI in Cybersecurity," is scheduled for Thursday, March 13th from 1:15 - 2 p.m. ET. Ryan and other panelists will discuss how organizations can leverage AI to strengthen cybersecurity by automating defenses, detecting threats, and improving decision-making. They will also examine the risks of bias, over-reliance, and adversarial AI, offering insights on using this powerful technology responsibly to drive cybersecurity success.

Ryan is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team, based in Seattle. Ryan helps clients navigate the complex legal landscape of data privacy and cybersecurity. With deep expertise in privacy compliance, he advises organizations on regulatory requirements and risk management strategies to enhance their security posture. Before joining Constangy, Ryan was a founding member of Grant Thornton’s Cyber Practice, providing advisory services to Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises. He is also an adjunct professor at Seattle University, where he teaches courses on privacy, data science, and business.
