Sasha Thaler Presents CLE Webcast on Wage and Hour Cases

Speaking Engagement

Constangy partner Sasha Thaler presents a CLE webcast on litigating wage and hour cases, available to stream starting July 15th, 2024. This program, hosted by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, is being offered for 3.0 hours of CLE credit.

Wage and hour disputes often lead to putative class or collective actions, making it crucial for employers and legal practitioners to understand the latest litigation strategies. Recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions have seen employers increasingly using mandatory arbitration programs to avoid class and collective litigation. In this program, Sasha and other legal professionals will delve into the complexities of wage and hour litigation under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and Massachusetts law. The webcast will provide viewers with a comprehensive overview of federal and state wage and hour laws, highlighting common compliance issues and theories of liability and offering strategies for and defending against such claims.
