Constangy Cyber Team Chair, Sean Hoar, will join Professional Insurance Agents - New Jersey for a webinar, 'Deep Dive: A Conversation About the Claim Cycle of a Cyber Risk.' The webinar will take place on October 19th at 11 a.m. ET.

Sean is a partner in Constangy's Portland office with nearly 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity and data privacy space. His career tracks both the public and private sectors; prior to joining Constangy, Sean worked with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as the lead cyber attorney for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Oregon and worked with the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section in Washington, D.C. During that time, he worked closely with the FBI, the Secret Service, and other federal agencies in prosecuting complex white collar and high-tech cybercrime. At Constangy,  Sean leads the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team, which helps organizations of all sizes and across all sectors respond to cybersecurity incidents, work towards compliance with state, federal, and international data privacy and beach notification regulations, and defend against litigation and regulatory investigations stemming from data breaches and alleged privacy violations. He has been recognized for his leadership in the data privacy and cybersecurity space, having been named by the Cybersecurity Docket as one of the best and brightest data breach response lawyers in the United States. His credentials include being a Global Information Security Professional (GISP), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Certified Information Privacy Professional for United States law (CIPP/US).
