Sean Hoar Moderates Panel at Zywave's Cyber Risk Insights Conference in New York City

Constangy partner and Cyber Team chair, Sean Hoar, is scheduled to appear on a panel, entitled, “The Future of the Cyber Product,” which will discuss the evolution of the cyber insurance market and where it will head in the coming years at Zywave's 2023 Cyber Risk Insights New York Conference.

Sean Hoar is a partner and the chair of Constangy's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team. Sean has nearly 25 years of experience with data privacy and information security matters in both the public and private sectors. He is a former cyber attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as the lead cyber attorney for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Oregon, and worked with the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section in Washington, D.C. At Constangy, he continues to manage responses to complex data breaches and works with information security personnel and corporate executives in managing and mitigating cyber risk.

Sean known as a thought leader in the cybersecurity space, frequently presenting at cyber and legal industry conferences across the country. He has been recognized for his leadership in the data privacy and cybersecurity space, having been named by Cybersecurity Docket as one of the best and brightest data breach response lawyers in the United States six years in a row. His credentials include being a Global Information Security Professional (GISP), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Certified Information Privacy Professional for United States law (CIPP/US).
