Constangy partner and Cyber Team chair Sean Hoar will present a webinar with the Oregon State Bar Association on April 9 at 2 p.m. PT. The program -"How Law Firms Get Hacked (And What You Can Do About It)" - will delve into the reasons law firms make valuable targets for malicious actors and the strategies used to infiltrate their systems.

Sean and Sherri Davidoff, CEO of a digital forensics firm, will show examples of real cyber incidents faced by law firms and offer strategies for proactively protecting law firm data and preventing potential breaches. Attendees will be eligible to receive 1.0 hours of practical skills Oregon MCLE credit (approval pending).

Sean Hoar is the chair of Constangy's Cyber Team and a former cyber attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. He has been recognized repeatedly for his leadership in the cybersecurity legal space and is a frequent presenter on topics related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology. At Constangy, he leads a team of more than 50 attorneys, responding to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, providing data security and privacy compliance services, and representing clients in litigation and investigations involving alleged data breach and privacy violations.
