Constangy partner Taren Greenidge led a workshop at the 5th annual Women of Color Summit on June 5th and 6th in Niagara Falls. Constangy was also a proud sponsor of the event.

The Women of Color Summit is an annual event dedicated to empowering minority women and tackling systemic change. This year's theme, R.I.S.E – “Recognizing Our Influence, Success, and Essence: Why We Matter”, focused on addressing the intricate issues affecting women of color and the challenges they often face while trying to elevate their careers and pursue executive roles. Taren Greenidge lent her expertise as an experienced labor and employment litigator and partner at a national law firm to her workshop, which aimed to help women rise to their personal and professional potential.

Taren represents employers in various employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, wage and hour claims, workers’ compensation, leave laws, and disability accommodation. She has defended clients in state and federal courts and before agencies like the EEOC and NYSDHR. Taren has handled cases across multiple states and provides compliance advice to both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. She founded the Black Young Professionals (BYP) to support young professionals of color and serves on multiple boards, including the Urban League and Dress for Success Rochester. Taren is dedicated to advocating for her clients and supporting her community.
