Alyssa Watzman and Ryan Steidl Moderate Panels at NetDiligence San Diego Cyber Risk Summit

Constangy Cyber Team vice chair Alyssa Watzman and partner Ryan Steidl will moderate panels at NetDiligence’s Cyber Risk Summit in San Diego. The summit will be held May 13 - 15 at the InterContinental San Diego. Constangy is proud to be a silver-level sponsor of the event.

This annual event brings together cyber professionals to discuss the evolving challenges and trends shaping cybersecurity, privacy, and cyber insurance. Alyssa's panel - '2024 Claims & Losses Update' - will be held from 1:30 - 2:15 p.m. on the conference's opening day. This discussion will explore recent cyber claims data, real-world incidents, and key lessons for risk assessment and insurance coverage.

Ryan's panel - 'Issues Impacting Minors' - is scheduled for 3:20 - 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14. This program will be focused on digital safety for minors, including COPPA compliance, cyberbullying, AI-related risks, and exposures tied to EdTech platforms.

Alyssa Watzman is a partner and Vice Chair of the Constangy Cyber Team. Based in Denver, substantial experience leading clients through complex data breaches, ransomware incidents, and regulatory challenges. Alyssa frequently collaborates with cyber insurers and brokers to enhance clients' privacy and security resilience. She is a sought-after speaker on cyber insurance, data privacy, and risk mitigation strategies.

Ryan Steidl is a partner, member of the Constangy Cyber Team, and co-chair of the firm's Artificial Intelligence practice group based in Seattle.  Ryan advises organizations on global privacy compliance, AI governance, and cybersecurity risk management. He also teaches courses on global privacy law and data ethics at Seattle University.
