The 2026 guide marks the inaugural edition of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Global Investigations Lawyers. According to Lawdragon, the publication honors "white-collar wonders, enforcement experts and investigative icons" whose work spans congressional investigations, government agency enforcement actions, corporate internal investigations, and inquiries involving colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations. Taren represents employers nationwide in labor and employment matters, with a particular focus on workplace investigations, employment litigation, and regulatory compliance. She counsels organizations ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies on navigating complex workplace issues involving harassment, discrimination, wage and hour compliance, disability accommodation, leave laws, and workers' compensation.
In addition to defending employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies—including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights, and state labor departments—Taren conducts sensitive internal workplace investigations and advises employers on policy development, employee training, and risk management strategies. Her practice extends across numerous jurisdictions, including New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, and Tennessee.
Sasha advises employers through every stage of the employment relationship, helping organizations address complex labor and employment challenges while minimizing legal risk. Her practice encompasses internal workplace investigations, employment litigation, compliance counseling, and dispute resolution involving federal and state employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII, and the WARN Act.
As co-chair of Constangy's Investigations practice group, Sasha is regularly retained as an independent investigator for colleges and universities, conducting Title IX investigations, employment discrimination investigations, and other sensitive workplace inquiries. She also advises employers on workplace policies, executive employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and personnel issues affecting employees throughout the employment lifecycle. When disputes arise, she represents employers before state and federal agencies and in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour matters, and other workplace claims. Sasha frequently speaks on emerging workplace law developments, helping employers stay ahead of evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
