Constangy Promotes Rayner Mangum to Senior Counsel
Constangy is pleased to announce that Rayner Mangum has been promoted to senior counsel, recognizing her dedication to client service and deep experience in employment law.
Rayner represents employers in all aspects of workplace law—whether guiding them through preventive compliance strategies or defending them in complex litigation. She has handled matters at both the trial and appellate levels, including single-plaintiff disputes and large-scale class and collective actions involving claims under Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, Title IX, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, among others.
Known for her practical, solution-oriented approach, Rayner helps employers navigate challenging workplace issues with clarity and confidence. Her practice spans counseling and litigation, encompassing claims of discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and leave and accommodation disputes. She regularly advises clients on how to align their workplace policies with both business goals and legal obligations.
Before joining Constangy, Rayner clerked for The Honorable Brian D. Boatright on the Colorado Supreme Court, where she gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making. She later practiced with an international law firm, honing her skills in complex civil litigation and appellate advocacy.
Rayner earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado and graduated first in her class from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Alabama Law Review.
