Dean Kpere-Daibo Named to Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s 2026 POWER List for Employment Law
Constangy is proud to announce that partner Dean Kpere-Daibo has been named to The POWER List for Employment Law by Missouri Lawyers Weekly for 2026, marking his first time receiving the recognition.
The POWER List for Employment Law features attorneys representing employers and employees in significant workplace matters, including employment litigation, wage and hour disputes, and appellate cases. Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s editorial team develops the list by reviewing records of verdicts and settlements and consulting the publication’s archives to identify attorneys it considers among the most powerful employment lawyers in Missouri.
Dean serves as co-chair of Constangy’s Labor Relations Practice Group and represents management interests in all areas of labor and employment law. He advises employers of all sizes, from large national companies to nonprofits, on labor negotiations, union campaigns, and workforce management strategies, working closely with executives and human resources leaders to provide practical, business-focused guidance.
Dean’s practice centers on traditional labor law. He defends unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrates labor grievances, and guides clients through union organizing campaigns and elections. His experience also includes disputes involving collective bargaining agreements and supervisor status under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), as well as management training on labor relations strategy and compliance.
In addition to his labor relations practice, Dean defends employers in employment litigation in state and federal courts, including discrimination, retaliation, and disability claims. His appellate experience includes arguing an issue of first impression before the Missouri Supreme Court. Dean also provides proactive counseling and training on implicit bias, anti-harassment, investigations, and employee relations.
Dean has received numerous professional honors throughout his career. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Employment Law – Management (2024–2025, 2027) and Labor Law – Management and Litigation – Labor and Employment (2025–2027). His other honors include National Black Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40” (2016), Who’s Who Diversity in Color’s Bold & Brightest (2017), Delux Magazine’s Power 100 Most Influential Black Professionals in St. Louis (2017), and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars (2018–2025).
