The Masters Conference on Cyber Risk, Data Breach & Privacy is a one-day event focused on legal challenges in cybersecurity. The day's events featured expert panels and tabletop exercises on safeguarding data and minimizing cyber risk. Julie joined a panel - 'Incident Response: Tips and Process Overview' - held from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. ET. Julie and other panelists walked through the incident response lifecycle, highlighting key stages from preparation to notification and offering actionable tips on legal, technical, and forensic best practices.

Julie Hess is a partner in Constangy’s Philadelphia office and a member of the Cyber Team. She guides clients through all phases of data breach response, from incident assessment to regulatory compliance under state, federal, and international laws. A former Assistant District Attorney and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, Julie brings significant litigation and investigative experience, along with deep knowledge of data mining and digital forensics.
