Award
North Carolina Lawyers Weekly

Constangy is pleased to announce that Ken Carlson, a partner in the firm’s Winston-Salem office, has once again been named to North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s “Power List” for Employment Law. This marks the third consecutive year Ken has earned this recognition.

The annual “Power List” honors attorneys who demonstrate deep knowledge of their legal practice areas, a consistent record of professional achievement, and strong reputations among peers. According to North Carolina Lawyers Weekly, honorees are selected based on a range of factors, including demonstrated legal acumen, experience, peer recognition, community involvement, and contributions to the profession.

Ken is a senior litigator, mediator, and arbitrator with extensive experience in virtually all facets of employment law. His current practice focuses primarily on alternative dispute resolution, where he serves as a certified mediator and arbitrator in matters involving employment disputes, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) claims (including class and collective actions), wage and hour matters, and ERISA-related issues.

In addition to his ADR work, Ken frequently advises employers on proactive compliance strategies and best practices to mitigate legal risk in the workplace. He is also a sought-after speaker and trainer on employment-related topics.

Constangy congratulates Ken on this well-deserved recognition and his continued service to clients and the broader legal community.
