Rich's session, "Crisis Communications - Communicating with Law Enforcement, Customers, Clients, and Employees During a Breach," is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 at 2:15 p.m. This presentation will address strategies for corresponding with key parties throughout a cybersecurity incident, highlighting key considerations for data breach response.

Rich Goldberg is vice chair of Constangy's Cyber Team and counsels clients on all aspects of data privacy and cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, crisis management, and regulatory investigations. With more than 25 years of experience, he has guided organizations through data breaches ranging from localized incidents to global security events affecting millions of individuals. Before joining Constangy, Richard served as a cyber attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he prosecuted cybercrime and intellectual property offenses and led responses to sophisticated cyber threats. He also served as a longtime DOJ Crisis Management Coordinator, is an adjunct law professor, and was a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Hong Kong for the U.S. Department of State.
