Ryan Steidl Presents at 2025 Privacy + Security Forum Fall Academy
Constangy partner and Artificial Intelligence practice group co-chair Ryan Steidl will present at the Privacy + Security Forum Fall Academy. This event will be held at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., from November 12–14.
The Privacy + Security Forum Fall Academy is a three-day conference designed for privacy and security professionals, CIOs, attorneys, academics, technologists, and policy makers. Attendees will have access to in-depth sessions featuring seasoned thought leaders in privacy and security law.
Ryan will join a panel, "More Than Crumbs In The Cookie Jar: Why Tracking Technologies Are Still A Top Concern For All Organizations," scheduled for Friday, November 14, from 8:50 to 9:50 a.m. This session will explore the complex challenges organizations face in configuring websites and applications to properly manage consumer choices and tracking preferences. Panelists will discuss how implementation missteps can lead to compliance failures, enforcement actions, or litigation.

Ryan Steidl is a partner and co-chair of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence practice group. A member of the Constangy Cyber Team, he advises organizations on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI governance, helping clients align compliance strategies with business objectives. Ryan is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and an instructor at Seattle University, where he teaches courses on global privacy law and data ethics.
