Constangy Cyber Team chair Sean Hoar and vice chair Allen Sattler will present at NetDiligence’s Cyber Risk Summit in Philadelphia, held October 6–8, 2025, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Constangy is also proud to be a silver-level sponsor of the event.

The NetDiligence Cyber Risk Summit in Philadelphia is an annual event tailored for cybersecurity, data privacy, and cyber insurance industry insiders. The conference features three days of education and networking opportunities focused on data breach response, cyber liability, and legal and regulatory challenges.

Sean will present as part of the conference’s Career Pathways Program, a dedicated track for students and young professionals that precedes the main conference agenda. His session, “Regulatory Environment," will take place at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, October 6. Sean will cover global data privacy legislation and regulatory developments from the past year, including how these trends impact legal exposure and cyber insurance coverage.

Allen will join the panel “Cyber Claims & Losses Update,” scheduled for 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7. This session will examine real claims and losses resulting from cybersecurity incidents, helping attendees understand current trends to better assess cyber risk.

Sean Hoar is chair of the Constangy Cyber Team, based in Portland, Oregon. With more than 25 years of experience in data privacy and information security, he previously served as the lead cyber attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Oregon and worked with the DOJ’s Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section in Washington, D.C. Twice honored with the DOJ Director’s Award, Sean is recognized as one of the nation’s leading data breach response lawyers. He holds GISP, CISSP, and CIPP/US credentials and advises organizations nationwide on managing and mitigating cyber risk.

Allen Sattler is vice chair of the Constangy Cyber Team, based in Orange County. He has extensive experience managing responses to hundreds of data security incidents and leads the team’s cybersecurity litigation services. Allen defends companies in class action lawsuits related to data breaches and privacy violations, including those involving website tracking technologies. He regularly collaborates with digital forensic experts and advises cyber insurers on coverage matters. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Allen is also a sought-after speaker on cyber risk mitigation and data privacy.
