Sean Hoar is a partner in Constangy’s Portland office and chair of the firm’s national Cyber Team. With more than 25 years of experience in data privacy and information security, he previously served as the lead cyber attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Oregon and worked with the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section in Washington, D.C. Sean has twice been honored with the DOJ Director’s Award and has been recognized by Cybersecurity Docket as one of the top data breach response lawyers in the country.
