Constangy Welcomes Three Attorneys Across Three Offices
Constangy is pleased to announce the addition of three talented attorneys—Hannah Compton, Marisa Fein, and Komal Jain—who bring a wide range of experience and skill to the firm’s national practice.
Hannah Compton – Tampa Office
Hannah counsels employers on the full spectrum of workplace matters, offering both day-to-day guidance and defense against employment litigation. She advises clients on hiring and termination, workplace accommodations, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour compliance, helping organizations minimize risk while staying aligned with legal requirements. Hannah also develops and updates employment handbooks, contracts, and workplace policies tailored to client needs.
Her litigation experience includes defending employers in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage disputes. She regularly prepares position statements in response to EEOC charges and manages all stages of litigation, from pleadings through discovery. Hannah also conducts internal investigations for public and private employers and partners with clients to implement proactive compliance strategies that foster positive and legally sound workplaces.
Marisa Fein – Washington, D.C. - Northern Virginia, Cyber Team
Marisa is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team based in Washington, D.C. She supports clients as a member of the rapid response team, guiding organizations through the critical first steps of identifying, containing, and responding to data security incidents. Marisa works closely with clients to help ensure a timely and coordinated response that minimizes operational disruption and complies with regulatory obligations. Her background includes a strong foundation in legal research and writing, with experience analyzing complex regulatory issues and advising on matters involving privacy, ethics, and technology.
Marisa brings a judicial perspective to her cyber practice, having served as a law clerk to two judges on the Charles County Circuit Court in Maryland. During her clerkships, she drafted opinions in both civil and criminal matters while also preparing legal memoranda for docketed cases. Marisa’s experience conducting real-time legal analysis in high-pressure courtroom settings makes her well-equipped to assist clients in urgent, time-sensitive matters.
Marisa earned her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, cum laude, where she served as Executive Articles Editor for the Drexel Law Review. While in law school, Marisa completed an internship with the Department of Justice in the Constitutional & Specialized Tort Litigation Section where she applied federal law, regulations, and policies to diverse litigation strategies. She is admitted to practice in Maryland.
Komal Jain – Senior Counsel, Denver and San Diego Offices
Komal is an accomplished litigator who defends employers in high-stakes and complex disputes. Her practice focuses on discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour matters, including class actions and PAGA cases. She also has significant experience in eDiscovery, protecting clients’ interests in cases involving large volumes of data and documentation.
Drawing on both private practice and in-house experience, Komal offers clients a practical, business-minded approach to litigation strategy. She is known for crafting aggressive and effective defenses that align legal strategy with operational priorities. In addition, her practice spans data privacy counseling, cybersecurity litigation, and incident response—bridging the firm’s strengths in employment law with the evolving challenges of digital risk.
