Todd Rowe Presents at ABA TIPS 2026 Cybersecurity Data Privacy Conference
Constangy Cyber Team partner Todd Rowe will speak at the American Bar Association’s TIPS 2026 Cybersecurity Data Privacy Conference on March 5, 2026, at the Chicago-Kent College of Law. The biannual conference brings together leading practitioners to examine developments in data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence regulation and litigation.
Hosted by the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), the conference features in-depth discussions on the evolving regulatory and litigation landscape. Programming will address advances in AI, including quantum AI; state-level legislative and regulatory initiatives; federal oversight expectations; ransomware and other emerging cyber risks; cyber insurance developments; and practical strategies for managing data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related exposure. The event is designed for attorneys and professionals navigating complex and rapidly shifting compliance and litigation challenges.
Todd will present “Litigation Update on Mass Arbitrations and Class Actions in the Data and Privacy Space” from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. This session will provide an overview of how the plaintiffs’ bar is pursuing claims related to data collection and privacy practices, including cases involving Meta Pixel software, wiretap allegations, CIPA claims, and other wrongful collection theories. Todd and other panelists will offer insight into current litigation trends and practical considerations for organizations seeking to mitigate risk and respond effectively to evolving class and mass arbitration strategies.
