Overview

Kelly’s practice is commercial litigation, involving a concentration in employment and labor law. As part of her practice, Kelly represents companies in the litigation of significant disputes involving contracts and commercial dealings. Kelly routinely handles all types of employment law litigation in state and federal court, the EEOC, and state and local human rights commissions. These claims include whistleblower and retaliation claims, claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Federal Civil Rights Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, wage and hour disputes, and state and local employment laws. Kelly also enjoys assisting her clients with employment law and human resource issues such as hiring, firing, discipline, wage and hour issues, wrongful discharge, claims avoidance, drafting and interpreting employment contracts, separation agreements, trade secret and non-competition agreements, training, and internal investigations.
