Constangy is thrilled to announce that Taren Greenidge has been selected as a recipient of the Rochester Business Journal’s inaugural 2025 Impact and Inclusion Award.

The Impact and Inclusion Awards highlight the outstanding achievements of those who champion workplace cultures where everyone thrives. The honorees were selected by the editorial staff of Rochester Business Journal.

The award recipients will be recognized during the Impact and Inclusion Awards & Summit on March 27 at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Taren’s Legal Experience and Client Advocacy

Taren is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience representing employers in a wide range of employment law matters, including:

  • Harassment and discrimination claims
  • Wage and hour disputes
  • Workers’ compensation matters
  • Leave laws and disability accommodation
  • Policy drafting and compliance counseling for federal, state, and local employment regulations

She has represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), New York State Division of Human Rights, New York City Commission on Human Rights, New York Department of Labor, and New Jersey Department of Labor. Her practice extends to jurisdictions across the U.S., including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, and Tennessee.

Taren’s clients range from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, all of whom rely on her guidance for regulatory compliance and her thorough, strategic representation. Her experience also includes conducting sensitive workplace investigations and defending employers in complex litigation matters.

A Leader in Community Engagement

In addition to her legal career, Taren is a dedicated advocate for the community. She is the founder of Black Young Professionals (BYP), an auxiliary of the Urban League of Rochester, which provides young professionals of color with opportunities to network, connect, and serve. Under Taren’s leadership, BYP has grown to over 60 members and has reached more than 1,500 individuals in the Rochester area.

Taren also serves on several boards, including:

  • Urban League of Rochester Board of Directors
  • Dress for Success Rochester Board of Directors
  • Women’s Council of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce
  • Sisters of St. Joseph Foundation Board
