National labor, employment and cybersecurity law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP, is pleased to announce that Samuel S. Park has joined the firm’s Cyber Team and will be located in the Los Angeles office. Park joins the 60-member team, continuing the firm’s expansion of service to clients in this critical area of business.

Park helps clients navigate the incident response process and engage in complex cyber class-action litigation in a comprehensive and effective manner. He provides strategic counsel on cybersecurity compliance issues and risk management practices, enabling clients to minimize the likelihood of attacks and safeguard the integrity of their essential data. Through his daily work of managing responses to data security incidents and assisting clients with cyber litigation, he stays up to date on the latest developments in the cybersecurity and information privacy industry.

Prior to joining Constangy, Park represented clients in civil and criminal litigation/trial, which provide him unique insights to assess and help mitigate third-party liability during the incident response process. Park earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law and bachelor’s degree from UCLA. During law school, he served as a law clerk in multiple capacities for various criminal prosecutorial agencies and divisions. He also served as a judicial extern for judges in the California State Court.

Park holds a Certificate in Data Privacy and Security Compliance from Seton Hall University School of Law and a Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley – School of Law, Artificial Intelligence Institute. He is currently working toward obtaining a Cybersecurity Certificate from Cornell University and a Certificate in Data Security & Privacy Policy from Cornell Law School.
