Overview

Haley is a skilled litigator who represents employers in workplace disputes and provides practical counsel on discrimination claims, employment agreements, and compliance matters.

Haley assists employers with employment disputes and day-to-day workplace matters, including discrimination claims, administrative charges, employment agreements, and workplace policies. She approaches each matter with an understanding of her clients’ practical needs and works to provide clear, thoughtful guidance as they navigate employment-related challenges.

Haley has experience preparing responses to charges filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and defending employers in discrimination litigation. She also advises on federal employment regulations and reviews and updates employment agreements and policies, including provisions addressing noncompete and nonsolicitation obligations. Her experience also includes preparing cease-and-desist letters related to restrictive covenants and other employment obligations.

Haley’s litigation experience extends beyond employment matters. She has represented governmental entities and prepared motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, mediation statements, and other pretrial filings. This experience provides her with a strong foundation for developing litigation strategy, researching legal issues, and advocating for clients throughout the dispute resolution process.

Before entering private practice, Haley gained experience in tax and intellectual property matters. As a summer fellow with a low-income tax clinic, she analyzed IRS documents and prepared Offers in Compromise for qualifying clients. She also previously researched trademark litigation issues and reviewed discovery materials in anticipation of litigation.
