Overview
James is an attorney in Constangy’s Advice & Counsel group, where he assists employers with day-to-day workplace guidance, compliance matters, and risk management issues, drawing on his background in litigation support, regulatory processes, and client counseling.
Prior to joining Constangy, James gained hands-on legal experience in a criminal defense and immigration firm, working on complex criminal and immigration litigation cases and representing clients in state, federal, and administrative levels. During law school, James clerked for the Honorable Connie L. Williford in Bibb County Superior Court and worked at the Macon-Bibb County District Attorney’s Office.
James earned his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law, where he served as President of the International Law Students’ Association and was actively involved in various bar associations and affinity groups, including the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA) and the Asian & Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). He received his B.A. in International Affairs from Mercer University.
James is a native of South Korea and is fluent in Korean.
