Overview
Jason represents employers and insurers in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including mediation, subrogation, and appeals.
He has extensive experience handling cases involving complex issues such as the idiopathic defense, catastrophic designation, WC-240 (Return to Work) matters, medical benefits, psychological injuries, and diligent job search disputes. Jason works closely with large, self-insured employers and hospitals, providing strategic counsel that considers both the direct and indirect costs of workers’ compensation claims and the broader impact on the workforce.
In addition to his workers’ compensation practice, Jason has experience defending employers facing EEOC charges of sex, race, and disability discrimination, particularly in matters that intersect with workers’ compensation claims. He also represents employers in garnishment litigation. Jason regularly conducts training for employers and adjusters and presents at seminars across Georgia, guiding employers and insurers on workers’ compensation, the ADA, FMLA, unemployment claims, and garnishment issues.
Jason is based in Constangy’s Macon office and serves clients throughout Middle and South Georgia. He is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Macon Bar Association, and he is committed to providing responsive, thoughtful support to his clients in both litigation and day-to-day employment matters.
