Overview
Sasha Maynard has been with Constangy since the summer following her first year of law school, beginning as a law clerk and gaining valuable experience working with attorneys in the Chicago office and across the firm nationwide.
Through this progression, Sasha has developed a broad employment law background, with a particular focus on employment litigation and defense, including harassment, discrimination, and retaliation matters.
Sasha has contributed to client projects and presentations involving the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), as well as employment contracts and handbook development. Her experience also includes representing and defending clients before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Labor, and the Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights. In addition, Sasha has assisted in defending companies in class action litigation involving website tracking technologies.

In her free time, Sasha enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, socializing with friends and family, and cheering on her alma mater – the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also enjoys staying active by playing tennis and going on walks.
