Overview
Sasha represents employers in employment disputes involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace claims.
Sasha defends employers in a variety of employment disputes and advises clients on workplace policies and employment-related issues. She helps employers navigate legal challenges with practical, business-focused guidance and works closely with clients throughout the litigation process.
Her experience includes representing employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Labor, and the Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights. Sasha has also contributed to client presentations on the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and assisted clients with employment contracts and employee handbook development. She also has experience drafting independent contractor agreements for employers, including small businesses, as part of her broader employment counseling practice. In addition, she has supported the defense of companies in class action litigation involving website tracking technologies.
Sasha joined Constangy as a law clerk following her first year of law school and worked with attorneys in the firm's Chicago office and across the country before becoming an associate. Through that experience, she developed a broad foundation in employment law, gaining exposure to litigation strategy, administrative proceedings, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day employment counseling in support of employers across a wide range of workplace matters.
