Constangy partner David Smith will present at the Georgia Safety Conference, held from September 4-6 in Savannah, GA. Constangy is also proud to be a Gold sponsor of this event.

The Georgia Safety Conference is an annual event aimed at improving safety, health, and environmental programs that reduce risk and hazards in the workplace. The three-day program includes more than 50 esteemed presenters speaking on topics ranging from ESG to mental health and emergency planning. David will present an informative session - "Be Glad It’s Not the IRS! What to do when OSHA Arrives" - on September 5th from 9:45 -10:45 a.m.

David is a partner out of Constangy's Atlanta office and a member of the firm's Workplace Safety practice group. He counsels employers on compliance with federal and state occupational safety and health requirements and the development and implementation of safety and health programs and policies, including both general and DOT-required drug testing policies. In addition to working with companies on programs and compliance, David defends employers against OSHA citations and OSHA and DOT retaliation charges. He is a frequent lecturer on OSHA-related topics.
