In the News: Chris Deubert Publishes Article with Law360 on Denver Broncos Job Interview Offer  

Constangy attorney Chris Deubert published a Feb. 7 article with Law360 on the complications of the Denver Broncos’ defensive coordinator job interview offer to Brian Flores, Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker coach, and senior defensive assistant, who has since accepted a position with the Minnesota Vikings.

In the article, Deubert discusses how Flores is currently suing the Broncos and the challenges that would arise if Flores had been considered a candidate for the open position.

“Flores' lawsuit alleging racial discrimination is an activity protected under state and federal law against retaliation. In other words, employers generally cannot refuse to consider a candidate because that individual has alleged that the employer has engaged in illegal discrimination,” wrote Deubert.
