In the News: Chris Deubert and Amanda Novak Publish Article with Law360 on ChatGPT in the Workplace

Constangy attorneys Chris Deubert and Amanda Novak published a Mar. 2 article with Law360 on the anticipated effects ChatGPT may have on the workplace. 

In the article, Deubert and Novak discuss what issues employers should anticipate both in the hiring process and on the job. 

"There are already reports of job applicants using ChatGPT to help write resumes and cover letters. This practice is particularly interesting when juxtaposed against employers' increased use of technology and AI in their hiring processes to both identify quality candidates and to remove bias from the interview and hiring process. As a result, in at least some cases, we may begin to see a battle between AI tools." wrote Deubert and Novak. 

Deubert and Novak also discuss concerns regarding privacy regulations and the issues that may arise from employees using ChatGPT to help them with their jobs.
