Nia Doaks Recognized as a “Phenom” by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly

Nia has experience counseling businesses on a variety of labor and employment law matters under federal and state law and representing clients in litigation and proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other administrative agencies. Nia has been involved in litigation and administrative proceedings involving all aspects of Title VII, wage and hour issues, retaliatory discharge, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and various state law claims. Nia also has vast experience conducting internal workplace investigations covering policy violations such as sexual harassment and discrimination as well as representing clients in grievance and arbitration proceedings.

Doaks has been recognized The Best Lawyers in America® "Ones to Watch" for Labor and Employment Law – Management (2024) and Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” (2024). In 2023, she was also recognized as one of The National Black Lawyers "Top 40 Under 40.”
