Overview
Nia advises businesses on labor and employment law matters and represents clients in litigation and administrative proceedings.
She has extensive experience handling cases involving Title VII, wage and hour disputes, retaliation, and claims under the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, as well as various state law issues. Nia represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other administrative agencies. Her practice also includes conducting internal workplace investigations related to policy violations such as sexual harassment and discrimination, and representing employers in grievance and arbitration proceedings.
Nia’s background extends beyond labor and employment law. Before joining Constangy, she oversaw a business immigration practice, advising employers on immigration law matters and filing immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions. Her combined J.D./M.B.A. gives her a unique ability to bridge legal considerations with clients' business objectives, providing comprehensive counsel on both legal and strategic issues.
With her diverse skill set and client-focused approach, Nia is well-equipped to help businesses navigate the complexities of labor, employment, and immigration law. Her experience, combined with her leadership skills and dedication to client relationships, makes her a trusted advisor for businesses seeking practical, results-oriented solutions.
