Pierrette McCalla Recognized by Women Works Media Group as One of the “Most Powerful & Influential Attorneys in the Nation”
Constangy partner Pierrette McCalla was recently recognized as one the “Most Powerful & Influential Attorneys in the Nation” by Women Works Media at the 16th Annual Law & Justice Awards. The award recognizes influential women in Atlanta’s legal community.
Women Works Media Group’s mission is to recognize and gratify the wants, needs, passions, commitments, curiosities, lifestyles, self-esteem and motivations of women across the Atlanta metropolitan area and beyond.
McCalla focuses her practice on Workers’ Compensation, defending employers, insurers, and self-insureds in the state of Georgia. She began her legal career as a prosecutor for the City of Atlanta Solicitor's Office. In 2001, McCalla joined the Dekalb County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted felony offenses through jury trials. After working for five years in prosecution, she transitioned to civil practice and joined a large workers' compensation practice in 2003 as a senior associate.
