Overview

Pierrette defends employers, insurers, and self-insureds in workers’ compensation claims across the state of Georgia.

She represents clients in all phases of workers’ compensation matters, working to resolve claims efficiently while protecting business operations and mitigating exposure. Pierrette advises on claim strategy, settlement negotiations, and litigation before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Pierrette brings a strong litigation background to her practice, having begun her legal career as a prosecutor with the City of Atlanta Solicitor’s Office and later the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled felony jury trials. She transitioned to civil practice in 2003, joining a large workers’ compensation firm as a senior associate before continuing her work in this field at Constangy starting in 2008.

In addition to her litigation practice, Pierrette regularly speaks at workers’ compensation seminars throughout Georgia, educating clients and industry professionals on key legal principles, claim management strategies, and recent developments in the field. Her experience and proactive communication make her a reliable partner to employers navigating the complexities of workers’ compensation law.
