Constangy Expands Coast-to-Coast Presence with New Attorneys in San Francisco, Chicago, Kansas City, and Winston-Salem

Constangy is pleased to welcome four new attorneys to its offices nationwide, reflecting the continued growth of the firm’s coast-to-coast services and depth across key practice areas. Madison Balasek joins the firm’s San Francisco office as a member of the Constangy Cyber Team; Alexis Holloway joins the Winston-Salem office; Ben Rowley joins the Chicago office; and Anna Schall Kreamer joins as Senior Counsel on the Cyber Team, based in Kansas City.

Madison Balasek focuses her practice on data privacy compliance and cybersecurity risk management. She advises clients on a wide range of privacy and data protection matters, including cross-border data transfers, privacy policies, incident response planning, and U.S. state consumer privacy law compliance. Madison has experience with key domestic and international privacy frameworks, including the CCPA/CPRA, EU/UK GDPR, LGPD, and Swiss FADP.

Prior to joining Constangy, she advised clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors on privacy compliance and risk assessment. Madison earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School with a concentration in Corporate Law and served as Senior Research Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review. She holds a B.A. in English and Political Science with an International Relations concentration from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Alexis Holloway represents employers in employment litigation, workplace investigations, and administrative proceedings. She assists clients with drafting employment-related agreements and provides guidance on compliance and risk mitigation. Her prior experience with plaintiff-side employment litigation brings a well-rounded perspective to her employer-focused practice.

Alexis earned her J.D. from Elon University School of Law, where she was named to the National Order of Scribes. She served as Articles Editor for We the People, Elon’s constitutional law journal, and was active on the Moot Court and Pro Bono boards. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from Stevenson University.

Ben Rowley represents employers in complex employment litigation and appellate matters. His practice includes wage and hour class actions, restrictive covenant disputes, and business tort claims. He also has experience with breach of contract, fiduciary duty, and employment-related discrimination matters. Ben has handled cases from early litigation strategy through final appeal and has authored briefs before various appellate courts, including an amicus brief before the Illinois Supreme Court.

Ben earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he received the Friedman Award for Advocacy Excellence and was a competitor in the National Moot Court Competition. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas. Ben is active in the legal community, coaching Loyola’s Wagner Labor and Employment Moot Court Team and volunteering with organizations such as Chicago House and LAGBAC.

Anna Schall Kreamer joins the Constangy Cyber Team as Senior Counsel. She advises clients on data privacy, cybersecurity compliance, and incident response, with a focus on regulatory frameworks including the CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, and state breach notification laws. Anna has experience guiding clients through all phases of data incident response and coordinating with regulators and forensic experts.

Before joining Constangy, Anna practiced at a national law firm and previously served as an Assistant Attorney General in Missouri’s Consumer Protection and Antitrust Divisions. In that role, she investigated deceptive practices and participated in multistate privacy and antitrust matters. She also counseled nonprofit organizations on privacy, governance, and compliance issues.

Anna earned her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she was Director of Administration, Policy, and Alumni Affairs for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. She earned her B.A. in American Politics and Spanish from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Anna is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and the District of Columbia.
