Constangy Launches Cyber Heroes: Behind the Firewall Podcast Featuring Conversations with Cybersecurity Leaders
Constangy's nationally recognized Cyber Team is excited to announce the launch of its new podcast, Cyber Heroes: Behind the Firewall. Hosted by Cyber Team chair Sean Hoar, the monthly podcast features conversations with cybersecurity and data privacy leaders that go beyond today's headlines to explore the people behind the industry, the teams they have built, the challenges that inspire them, and the innovations shaping the future of cybersecurity.
Each episode offers listeners a personal look at the individuals driving the cybersecurity industry through candid discussions about their careers, leadership journeys, and the critical solutions they continue to develop. The podcast is designed for business leaders, in-house counsel, cybersecurity professionals, risk managers, and others interested in the evolving cyber landscape.
"As much as we focus on technology, cybersecurity is ultimately about people," Sean said. "Behind every major innovation, every significant incident, and every breakthrough in our industry are individuals whose experiences, leadership, and ideas are shaping the future. Cyber Heroes: Behind the Firewall gives listeners an opportunity to hear those stories directly from the people living them."
The inaugural episode features Neil Wasser, chair of Constangy's Executive Committee, who reflects on the personal experiences, leadership philosophy, and values that have shaped both his life and his more than two decades leading one of the nation's premier labor, employment, cybersecurity and data privacy law firms. During the conversation, listeners will learn about his childhood in Atlanta, the lasting influence of his grandfather, Frank Constangy, and the journey that led him from studying psychology and attending law school to leading the firm his family founded more than 80 years ago.
"Cyber Heroes reflects Constangy's commitment to providing meaningful insights on the issues that matter most to our clients," Neil said. "Sean has built a remarkable network of cybersecurity leaders, and this podcast creates an engaging forum to share their perspectives, experiences and ideas with a broader audience."
Following its Aug. 11 debut, new episodes will be released on the second Tuesday of each month. The podcast will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and other major podcast platforms.
