An article published in Law360 highlighted John MacDonald’s appointment to serve as co-chair of Constangy’s Transactional Solutions practice, announced on May 5, 2025. MacDonald joins Dave Kurtz as co-chair of the practice, which guides clients through many labor and employment aspects of commercial deals.

MacDonald told Law360 that the transaction team works well together and has a clear view of the larger context of a deal. "It involves a certain level of awareness of the greater picture, the greater transaction, that just isn't there when you're dealing with a discrete employment law issue typically," MacDonald said. "We tend to be very pragmatic. We want to get in and do what we need to do, but at the same time not become the issue."
