Jonathan Martin Speaks at CSRA SHRM Chapter Half-Day Conference
Constangy partner Jonathan Martin speaks at the CSRA SHRM Chapter Half-Day Conference, hosted by the Society for Human Resource Management's Central Savannah River Area chapter (CSRA SHRM), on April 21 at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Jonathan will present as part of the conference’s programming focused on employment law and human resources strategy.
The CSRA SHRM Chapter Half-Day Conference brings together human resources professionals for a half-day of programming designed to provide practical tools and fresh perspectives. The event features sessions addressing employment law, leadership, and global business strategy, with opportunities for networking and professional development.
Jonathan’s session, “Employment Law, Staying in Bounds,” begins at 9:00 a.m. During the session, he will share insights on navigating complex workplace laws, minimizing risk, and strengthening labor relations. Drawing on his experience advising employers, Jonathan focuses on delivering practical, actionable guidance tailored to the needs of HR professionals.

Jonathan Martin is a partner in Constangy’s Macon office and represents employers in employment discrimination litigation and traditional labor matters. He defends corporations in claims arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, and related state laws, and advises on union-related issues under the NLRA as well as wage and hour matters under the FLSA. A Colonel in the Georgia Air National Guard and former attorney in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, he also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Jonathan regularly conducts management training nationwide and has held leadership roles with the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Department of Labor, in addition to his active community involvement.
