Constangy partner and Cyber Team vice chair Lindsay Nickle recently presented at the County Management & Risk Conference, held from April 9-11 in Round Rock, Texas. This event is focused on risk reduction for counties and municipalities.

Lindsay's presentation on April 10th discussed local governments' risks and responsibilities following a cybersecurity incident. The presentation explored topics including the impact of data privacy regulations on local governments, evidence preservation, forensic investigations, and breach notifications.

Lindsay is a partner out of Constangy's Dallas office and Vice Chair of the Constangy Cyber Team with extensive experience in data privacy and incident response. Lindsay has managed incidents under HIPAA and HITECH, including major healthcare-related breaches. She leverages over 15 years as a trial attorney in healthcare and financial regulatory matters to assess third-party liability. Lindsay holds the CIPP/US credential, is a frequent speaker on cyber topics, and a recognized leader in cyber risk management.
