Overview
Lindsay is a vice chair of the Constangy Cyber Team and practices in Dallas, Texas. She manages complex data privacy and security matters, guiding clients through cybersecurity and data privacy incident response, risk mitigation, and third-party claims or litigation resulting from data privacy violations or incidents.
Lindsay has led responses to hundreds of data security incidents across industries and is known for her work on matters involving HIPAA and the HITECH Act. She has managed some of the largest and most intricate healthcare-related data incidents in the world. Lindsay also assists clients with compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Drawing on more than 15 years as a trial attorney in healthcare and financial regulatory matters, as well as her incident response experience, Lindsay is uniquely qualified to represent clients in defending litigation, including class action matters, related to data privacy and cybersecurity incidents.
Lindsay frequently leads training sessions and workshops to strengthen data security practices, educate regarding the cybersecurity threat landscape, and discuss risk management and strategies for reducing regulatory and litigation exposure.
Lindsay holds the CIPP/US certification and advises clients on evolving privacy laws, cyber insurance, risk management, and third-party liability. She is a regular speaker on cyber risk, data privacy regulations, and insurance considerations.
