Lynda Jensen Joins Constangy Cyber Team in Boston

Press Room

Constangy is pleased to announce that Lynda Jensen has joined the firm’s Cyber Team as a partner, based in Boston. Lynda brings more than a decade of experience advising clients on cybersecurity incident response, privacy compliance, and information governance, further strengthening the firm’s nationally recognized cyber rapid response team.

“Lynda brings deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience that’s increasingly essential in today’s cyber landscape,” said Neil Wasser, chair of Constangy’s executive committee. “She understands the pressure clients face in the middle of an incident and knows how to guide them through it with clarity and confidence. We’re excited to have her on board.”

As a member of the Constangy Cyber Team, Lynda supports clients across the entire lifecycle of a cybersecurity incident—from initial detection and investigation to internal and external communications, notification assessments, and regulatory engagement. Her cross-sector experience spans education, financial services, healthcare, insurance, and life sciences. She regularly works with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to help clients manage exposure and maintain compliance.

Before joining Constangy, Lynda advised clients on incident response planning, privacy policies, employee training, and data mapping strategies. She also provided guidance during corporate transactions, including privacy and cybersecurity due diligence in M&A deals. Lynda spent nearly six years at a national insurance carrier in a series of leadership roles, including Managing and Technical Director and Counsel. There, she managed a team of cyber claims professionals handling complex matters under cyber, commercial crime, financial institution, and kidnap and ransom policies.

Lynda also brings more than a decade of litigation experience, offering clients valuable perspectives on third-party liability and potential claims exposure. A frequent speaker at industry and legal conferences, she shares insights on ransomware, evolving cyber threats, and insurance considerations tied to cyber and commercial crime products.

She earned her J.D. with academic distinction from Suffolk University Law School and holds a B.A. in Economics, with an emphasis in Econometrics, from the University of California, San Diego. Lynda also completed a judicial clerkship with the Massachusetts Superior Court.
