She leads clients through data breach response from the first assessment to resolution, coordinating with digital forensics and incident response teams. Laura helps clients understand and meet their reporting duties under state and federal breach notification laws, developing clear, practical strategies to manage risks. She also advises on healthcare privacy under HIPAA, assisting with policies, business associate agreements, and data safeguards.

Laura’s work covers key privacy laws, including HIPAA and state data protection statutes. She helps covered entities, business associates, and subcontractors build strong compliance programs, respond to incidents, and meet regulatory demands. Clients rely on Laura for direct, business-focused guidance that protects their operations.

About Me

When Laura is not working, she loves spending time with her family, playing with her rescue dogs, and watching all things Michigan sports (Go Blue!). You can also often find Laura on the sidelines cheering on her favorite players - her kids!
